Mr. Sardar Al-Bebany, Chairman & CEO of Sardar Group and President of Toyota Iraq, participated in a series of events organized by the Iraq Britain Business Council (IBBC) in the United Kingdom. The events brought together business leaders, government representatives, and economic institutions to discuss investment opportunities and trade cooperation in Iraq and the wider region.

Mr. Al-Bebany played a prominent role as a speaker at the “Doing Business in Iraq” seminar, where he shared insights from his business experience, highlighting investment opportunities in the Iraqi market, the current business environment, and the challenges facing companies operating in the country. He also attended the “Doing Business in Syria” seminar and participated in a joint reception hosted by IBBC and the Syria Britain Business Council (SBBC) at the historic Mansion House in London. The reception also marked the launch of Synergy, an initiative aimed at strengthening economic cooperation and expanding partnerships among business communities across the region.

His participation also extended to the IBBC Annual Retreat at Cumberland Lodge in Windsor Great Park. The event provided a platform for discussions on Iraq’s economic outlook, economic reform priorities, investment opportunities, and the role of the private sector in supporting sustainable development.

Prominent attendees included H.E. Dr. Saleh Al-Tamimi, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the United Kingdom, and Prof. Dr. Yousif Khalaf Yousif Al-Dunainawi, Chairman of the Iraqi Prime Minister’s Advisory Commission, alongside leading business figures and government and international representatives.

This participation reflects the ongoing efforts of Sardar Group and Toyota Iraq to strengthen their relationships with the international business community, highlight opportunities in the Iraqi market, and expand cooperation and investment in support of Iraq’s economic development.
